Using the menu and display information

5.2.1 Display information
The display indicates the current status of the system as follows:
Specifications
The unit is ready for the standard program: 134 °C / 273 °F
Sterilization period 3 min.
The unit is ready for the prion program: 134 °C / 273 °F,
Sterilization period 18 min.
Choose the inserted lid type using the "Up"- and "Down"-Keys. Press the
"Start"-Key to confirm.
The „Start"-Key has been pressed. The selected lid is shown and the safety
ring must be pressed in order to start the cycle.
The cycle starts, the lid closes.
Indicates that the lid is firmly closed and reprocessing can start.
Available only for the Standard and Flex lids.
Cleans the water and air channels of the instruments.
Available only for the Standard lid.
The transmission channels of the instruments are lubricated.
Unheated water enters the chamber for exterior cleaning, pulse-wash
(multicyclic cleaning process) of the instruments, and oil discharge.
Fills the chamber with warm water for exterior cleaning, pulse-wash
(multicyclic cleaning process) of the instruments, and oil discharge.
The chamber is heated at the sterilization temperature and corresponding
pressure set in the selected program.
The selected sterilization temperature and pressure are achieved.
The saturated steam in the chamber is extracted through the interior channels
of the instruments under high pressure.
The time display indicates the remaining time for the current sterilization/
disinfection process.
Standard setting: 0
Purge instruments with air after sterilization.
This setting is deactivated from the factory, but can be enabled by a qualified
service technician.
The cycle is ended. The lid opens slightly.
Indicates that the procedure is finished. Press the "Clear"-Key to open the
DAC Universal completely so the instruments can be removed.
(simultaneously 2 seconds of acoustic alarm is given)
Indicates that 2 years or 3000 cycles have passed since the first use or last
servicing. Reminds the user that service is necessary, see "Errors / Display
messages [ → 95]".
A message is displayed. The list of all display messages is provided in "Errors
/ Display messages [ → 95]".
