Instructions
14.3 Carburetor
internals
 Locate float bowl along
with rubber ring on
carburetor body
 Ensure spring washers
are assembled on the 4
slotted head screws and
tighten
bowl
carburetor body.
 Insert piston
assembly with diaphragm
rubber into the top bore
in carburetor body.
 Assemble spring in the
piston valve assembly.
 Position top cover over
the
spring,
compress till the cover
rests on carburetor
body and the mounting
holes are aligned.
 Tighten cover to body
with the three screws.
 Assemble spring, washer,
inside and outside O
rings on pilot air screw
 Locate pilot air screw in
carburetor body and
gently
tighten
resistance is felt and
screw
cannot
tightened further.
 Loosen pilot air screw by
1 ½ TO 2 FULL TURNS.

Ensure proper seating of
rubber ring in the groove in
float bowl.
Do not apply any adhesive
to seat the rubber ring.

the diaphragm is correctly
and properly seated in the
carburetor body.

Screw driver
Torque : 35 + 10 Kgf
NOTE:
DO NOT over tighten the
till
pilot screw as it will cause
damage to the pointed tip.
