10.3 Changing the Password

Context
Using the Telepresence System Manager, you can set login passwords for the super
administrator, administrator, application programming interface (API) Server, serial port, touch
panel, Secure Shell (SSH)/Telnet, Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) client and Telnet client
users as well as the upgrade password for the telepresence system.

Follow-up Procedure
After the passwords are changed, you must enter new passwords to log in to the Telepresence
System Manager and the touch panel again.

10.4 Managing Contacts

Context
Using the Telepresence System Manager, choose Records > Contacts, you can import, export
and clear contacts, download the network address book, synchronize the address book with the
center codec, and view site information. The touch panel automatically synchronizes contacts
from the telepresence host.

Includes at least two of the following types of characters: uppercase letters, lowercase
letters, digits, and special characters (` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ = + \ | [ { } ] ; : , < . > / ?).
Contains no spaces or invalid special characters (' and ").
Change the current logged in user's password.
1. On the Telepresence System Manager, choose System Settings > Login Users to
display the Login Users tab page.
2. Fill in Current password, New passwprd, and Confirm password for your account.
3. Click Save.
Change other users' passwords.
1. On the Telepresence System Manager, choose System Settings > Other Users to
display the Other Users tab page.
2. Set the password for Touch Panel User, API Server user, Serial port user, SSH/
Telnet User, HTTP Client User or Telnet Client User and the upgrade password.
NOTE
If you log in to the Telepresence System Manager as the super administrator, you can also change
the password for Administrator.
3. Click Save.
