Administrator Guide
Context
To use the telepresence system, you must set the parameters for both external and internal
networks, such as network modes, IP addresses, subnet masks, and network port modes.
Procedure
Step 1 On the Telepresence System Manager, click System Settings and then the Network tab.
Step 2 Set the network parameters for the telepresence host.
Step 3 Click Save to save your settings.

2.2.3 Changing a User Password

Using the Telepresence System Manager, you can set login passwords for the administrator,
touch panel, application programming interface (API) Server, Secure Shell (SSH)/Telnet,
Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) client and Telnet client users as well as the upgrade
password for the telepresence system.
Context
The user name and password of the administrator are required to use the Telepresence System
Manager. The touch panel user name and password are required to use the touch panel. The
administrator can change the password for the administrator, touch panel, API Server,
SSH/Telnet, HTTP client, and Telnet client users as well as the upgrade password for the
telepresence system.
A password must meet the following requirements:

Contains 8 to 32 characters.
Includes at least two of the following types of characters: uppercase letters, lowercase
letters, digits, and special characters (` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ = + \ | [ { } ] ; : , < . >
/ ?).
The password does not contain spaces or invalid special characters (' and ").
Change the current logged in user's password.
Click System Settings, then Login Users.
Enter Current password, New password, and Confirm password.
Click Save.
Change other users' passwords.
Click System Settings, then Other Users.
Set the password for Touch Panel User, API Server user, SSH/Telnet User, HTTP
Client User, Telnet Client User and the upgrade password.
Click Save.
