Electro-pneumatic actuation (Class 272 740142)
If the green light-emitting diode (LED) 4 flashes, then the head is
switched on. The working method of the edge trimmer is determined
with the three-way switch 3. At switch position I, the edge trimmer is
switched on for normal applications. Switch position II is for switching
on the edge trimmer for larger stitch lengths. At switch position 0, the
function is switched off.
If the yellow LED 2 flashes, the edge trimmer begins after a
programmed stitch number (parameter 259 at the outfitter level;
prerequisite: parameter 255=2). The stitch number for switching off
the edge trimmer is specified using parameter 258 at the outfitter
level.
The yellow LED 1 glows constantly, while the edge trimmer is running.
The lower end position of the sewing foot can be adjusted with the
setting wheel 5. The adjustment range is approx. 0-5 mm.
