Sewing operation
Interrupting the sewing operation
at the centre of seam

Operation / Explanation
- Release the pedal (idle position) .
The machine stops in 1. position
(needle down).
The sewing foot is down.
- Step halfway back on the pedal.
The machine stops in 1. position
(needle down).
The sewing foot is lifted.
- Turn the workpiece around the needle.
- Press forward on the pedal.
The machine sews with the speed
determined by the pedal.
- Press key 2 and step on the pedal and hold.
The machine sews in reverse as long as key 2
is kept pressed.
The speed is determined by the pedal.
- Step all the way back on the pedal and hold.
The start backtack is sewn.
The thread is cut.
The machine stops in 2. position
The sewing foot is lifted.
Remove the workpiece.
- Press button 1 (tack suppression).
Step all the way back on the pedal.
The final bartack is not sewn.
The thread is cut.
The machine stops in 2. position
The position of the workpiece depends on the
position of the pedal:
a) Step back on the pedal and hold:
- sewing foot is lifted.
b) pedal is released (idle position):
- sewing foot down.
