6.13.2
Parameter table for the function module "Lifting/Lowering of the feed roller"
Adjusting and function
After network ON, the feed roller is lifted up. The light-emitting
diode 5 is switched on and therewith indicates the function
standby of the feed roller, i.e. the feed roller will be lowered at the
next seam.
By actuating the button 4, the light-emitting diode 5 is switched
off and therewith also the function standby of the feed roller, i.e.
the feed roller will not be lowered at the next seams.
By another actuation of button 4, the light-emitting diode is
switched on once again and therewith also the function standby of
the feed roller.
With the beginning of seam, a stitch count "z1" is started (only
when the feed roller is at function standby). If the start backtack is
switched on, the stitch count is started only after the start
backtack.
If the adjusted stitch number "z1"(for set values, see parameter
table 6.13.3 row B) is reached, then the feed roller is lowered. If
the stitch number is adjusted to "0", then the feed roller is lowered
immediately with the beginning of seam.
By actuating the button 4 during the stitch count "z1", the
counting operation is ended and the feed roller is immediately
lowered.
If the sewing foot is lifted while the feed roller is lowered, (due to
pedal in -1 position), then the feed roller is likewise lifted. After the
sewing foot is lowered, the stitch count is started and the feed
roller is lowered once the adjusted stitch number (for setting, see
parameter sheet 6.13.3 row B) is reached. If the stitch number is
adjusted to "0", then the feed roller is lowered immediately with
the lowering of the sewing foot. By actuating the button 4 during
the stitch count, the counting operation is ended and the feed
roller is immediately lowered.
If a manual tack is sewn while the feed roller is lowered, the feed
roller is lifted during reverse sewing. Once the manual tacking is
ended, the feed roller is lowered.
The feed roller is lifted with the beginning of the final bartack or
the thread cutting.
The function standby of the feed roller can be switched off even
while sewing by actuating the button 4 and can be switched on
again by a subsequent actuation. The light-emitting diode 5
indicates the function standby.
