The following preconditions are assumed while describing the sewing
operation:
The following functions are set at the control panel:
Start backtack and final bartack:
Sewing foot position before and after cutting:
Needle position before cutting:
Main switch switched on.
The last sewing operation has been concluded with final bartack
and thread cutting.
Operating sequence and function sequence while sewing:

Operation / Explanation
Pedal in idle position.
Sewing machine is at standstill.
Needle is up. Sewing foot is down.
- Step backwards on the pedal.
The sewing foot lifts.
- Position the workpiece.
- Release the pedal.
The sewing foot is lowered on the workpiece.
- Step forward on the pedal and hold in that position.
The start backtack is sewn.
Subsequently, the machine continues to sew with the
speed determined by the pedal.
- Press button 1 (tack suppression).
- Press forward on the pedal.
- The machine sews with the speed
determined by the pedal.
