Install Spring Anchor

For 2012 Models & Previous Years
1. Open the tractor hood. Install the spring anchor (PP,
Figure 31) by sliding it onto the right side of the bumper.
Close tractor hood.
Note: Groove (a) in spring anchor should be down.

1. Hook spring anchor assembly (QQ, Figure 32) into
groove on spring anchor.

2. Remove capscrew (a, Figure 33) from spring anchor
assembly. Insert capscrew through snowthrower
bracket (b) and screw into retainer and speed nut (c).
3. Tighten capscrew to increase the amount of lift assist.
