- A description of your peripheral attachments

Global Service Policy

3.4.1

Warranty Policy

Advantech's warranty policy is as follows:

Warranty Period

Advantech branded off-the-shelf products and third party off-the-shelf products used
to assemble Advantech configure to order products are entitled to a 2-year complete
and prompt global warranty service. Any defects in product design, materials, and
workmanship are covered from the date of shipment.
All customized products will, by default, carry a 15-month regional warranty. The
actual product warranty terms and conditions may vary based on the sales contract.
All third party products purchased separately will be covered by the warranty of the
original manufacturer, and shall not exceed 1 year of coverage through Advantech.
3.4.3

Repairs Under Warranty

A replacement product (cross-shipment) can be obtained within 30 days of purchase.
If the product was purchased directly from Advantech and was dead on arrival
(DOA), contact your original Advantech supplier to arrange a DOA replacement. The
DOA cross-shipment excludes any shipping damage, customized, and/or build-to-
order products.
For products that are not DOA, the return shipping fee to an authorized Advantech
repair facility will the responsibility of the customer. The fee for shipping fee repaired
or replacement products from Advantech back to the customer will be the responsibil-
ity of Advantech.
