Step Cause
1 CN1 on the power
supply unit is
disconnected.
2 CN2 on the power
supply unit is
disconnected.
3 The fuse on the power
supply unit is burnt.
4 The power supply unit
is defective.
5 CN5 on the digital
board unit is
disconnected.
6 CN on the LED board
is disconnected.
7 CN6 on the digital
board unit is
disconnected.
8 The digital board unit is
defective.

1 The digital board unit is
defective.

Is the fuse on the power supply

Detach CN2 on the power
supply unit.
Check the CN2 is outputting the
following voltages:
(+): Pin 8 of CN3
(-): Pin 5 of CN3
Is the output voltage +5 VDC?
Is CN5 on the digital board unit
disconnected?
Is CN on the LED board
disconnected?
Is CN on the LED board
disconnected?
The scanner does not begin initialisation
