3.2.9 APS Holder Disassembly (Refer to Figure A-7.)
This disassembly is required when remove the film of the APS film cartridge is jammed inside of the APS
holder.
Wear the gloves without any fuzz when you perform this procedure.
Do not remove the screw which is not mentioned in this procedure.
Do not perform any disassembly which is not mentioned in this procedure.
Side Cover (door side) Removal
(1) Peer a part of "CAUTION" sticker off which hide the screw.
(2) Remove the six screws.
(3) Remove the side cover.
(4) Remove the door.
Side Cover (indicator side) Removal
(5) Remove the five screws.
(6) Remove the side cover.
APS Film Cartridge Removal
(7) Remove the five screws.
(8) Remove the top cover.
(9) Remove the two film roller shafts.
(10) Wind the film of the APS film cartridge manually by using the bigger lug part of the "cartridge
driver". Then adjust the indicator at "4. 1" and close the cartridge light-lock door by using the
smaller lug part of the cartridge driver.
NOTES: 1. Do not attach the part of indicator component part of the APS holder. The
disassembly becomes more difficult when the spring comes out.
2. Make cleanly without any dust and garbage inside of the APS holder when reassemble
the APS holder.
