2.3.4 Preview and Main Scan Motor Drive Circuits

A constant current drives the preview and main scan motors, stepping motors that require change in the
excitation status to generate rotation.
Figure 2-18 shows the stepping motor's internal wiring. Table 2-6 indicates the excitation sequence
required to rotate the motor. Note that the motor can be rotated in reverse by reversing the excitation
sequence given in Table 2-6.
