17. Log Server

17.5 Maintenance

This function allows the administrator to remove all records that have passed their expiration limit (refer to 17.3.1 Configure for limit details).
In order to delete old files from the log server, the maintenance function must be performed.

17.6 Options

The Options menu consists of only one function: Network Retry.

17.6.1 Network Retry

Network Retry sets the number of seconds the Log Server should wait before attempting to connect if the previous connection attempt failed.
When clicking this item, a dialog box will appear:
Enter the desired number of seconds and click OK to finish.

17.7 Help

The Help menu consists of two options; Contents and About Log Server.

17.7.1 Contents

Selecting the Contents function opens an online Windows Help file. The Help file contains instructions on how to set up, operate and
troubleshoot the Log Server.

17.7.2 About Log Server

Selecting the About Log Server option opens a dialog box displaying the Log Server's version number.
