16.2 Update Display Info

The Update Display Info button queries the local monitor's EDID information and updates it. The EDID information communicates with the
server's video card about the display hardware it is connected to (e.g. the monitor connected to the KVM console).
The monitor's Preferred Resolution (Optional) is included in the Display Information window. To apply the preferred resolution, select an option
from the Select Preferred Resolution drop down menu, then click Write.
16.3 Backup / Restore
The Backup/Restore function backs up and restores the KVM switch configuration and user profile information.
Backup
To create a backup of the KVM switch:
1. Enter a password in the Password field.
Note: Setting a password is optional. If you do not wish to use a password, you can skip this step.
2. Click the Backup button.
3. A pop-up will appear ask to save the backup file. Save the file to a desired location on your computer.
