Viewing Debug (Syslog and Session) Status. Use these commands to
determine the current debug configuration and status:
Syntax: show < config | running >
Lists the current startup-config or running-config file, with
any currently configured IP addresses for SyslogD servers.

Shows that Syslog (Destination) logging is
enabled and transmitting log messages to IP
address 18.120.38.155. A lso shows that the
l ogging facil ty is set to user (the default), and i
that session logging is enabled.
Disabl es Syslog logg ng (but retains the
Syslog IP address in the switch
configuration). Does not affect Session
logging.
Shows Syslog (Destination) logg ng now
disabled. Session logging continues to
operate.
The configured Syslog server IP
addresses appear in the switch's
configuration file, even if Syslog
logging is disabled.
