• To raise the radio frequency - push the search lever up.
• To lower the radio frequency - push the search lever down.
To move up or down the radio frequencies in sequence, move
the lever one click at a time. The AM frequency display moves
in 10kHz steps. The FM frequency moves in 0.2
MHz
steps.
SEEK Mode Auto Search:
I. To select SEEK, push the SEEK/SCAN button (page 79).
The SCAN indicator will disappear in the display.
2. To automatically stop the search on the next available
station, push the search lever and release it as soon as the
frequency display begins moving.
3. Repeat the preceding step until you have the station you
want.
When the frequency display reaches either end,
it
transitions
to the other end of the band and continues in the same
direction.
SCAN Mode AUio Search:
I. To select SCAN. push the SEEK/SCAN button (page 79).
The SCAN indicator will appear in lhe display.
2. To automatically scan ahead to the next available station,
lightly push lhe search lever and release it before the
frequency display starts moving.
The SCAN indicator will blink in the display until the scan
stops at the next available station.
3. To listen to the station. lightly push the search lever within
10 seconds.
If
you do nothing, the scanning process continues.
