Load Limits & Guidelines
Your motorcycle was designed to carry a rider, a passenger, and
cargo. When you add a passenger or cargo - or install heavy
accessories - you may feel some difference during
acceleration and braking. But so long as you keep your
motorcycle well maintained, with good tires and brakes, you
can carry loads within the limits and guidelines in this manual.
However, exceeding the load
limits
or carrying an unbalanced
load can seriously impair your motorcycle's handling, braking,
and stability. That's why we urge you to adhere to the limits
and guidelines on the following pages.
