Uninstallation

Uninstalling the OPTIMOD-PC Software

To remove the OPTIMOD-PC software, go to the START MENU, select All Programs,
Orban, Optimod-PC 1101 folder , and then Uninstall Optimod-PC 1101 .
The Uninstaller will uninstall the OPTIMOD-PC Control Application, optimod2.exe,
Service, Optimod2Service.exe , Driver, optimod2.sys, all OPTIMOD-PC related Reg-
istry entries, and, if desired, all Connection Profiles, Settings, and User Presets.
When the dialog box appears asking, "Do you want to retain the existing Optimod-
PC 1101 connections, profiles, settings, and user presets," select "Yes." In most cases,
you will want to retain this information. If you plan to stop using the card and want
to completely delete all Registry entries, Connection Profiles, Settings, and User Pre-
sets, select "No."
The computer must be restarted to unload the driver and complete the uninstalla-
tion.
