How to Handle the Hydraulic Valve Unit Backup
Switch (For Both Stern Drives)
1. Stop the engines in both stern drives and turn off the power.
2. Disconnect the harness (EPV driver) on port or starboard.
3. Remove the cap of the three pins connector from the harness (EPV
driver).
