Vespa GTS Super 300 ie (2008)
- Remove the rear handlebar cover.
- Remove the screw fixing the handlebar to the
steering tube
- Tilt the handlebar towards the shield back plate
being careful not to scratch the plastic parts
- Remove the steering tube ring nut cover
- Use a specific tool to remove the counter-ring nut,
the spacer washer and the ring nut of the upper
disk of the fifth wheel fitting
- Slide off the steering tube and remove perma-
nently the mudguard from the suspension
Specific tooling
020055Y Wrench for steering tube ring nut
Overhaul
Carry out this operation only if strictly necessary and in any case remove and replace the old part with
a new one.
