SBC ACPI Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) is an OS-directed configuration, power management, and thermal management interface. AHCI Advanced Host Controller Interface (AHCI) is a SATA Host controller register-level interface. The Advanced Technology Attachment (ATA) interface connects storage devices including hard disks and CD-ROM drives to a computer.

SBC L2 Cache The Level 2 Cache (L2 Cache) is an external processor memory cache. LVDS Low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) is a dual-wire, high-speed differential electrical signaling system commonly used to connect LCD displays to a computer. PCIe PCI Express (PCIe) is a communications bus that uses dual data lines for full-duplex (two-way) serial (point-to-point) communications between the SBC components and/or expansion cards and the SBC chipsets.

SBC NOTE: The following discussion applies to DOS. Contact IEI support or visit the IEI website for drivers for other operating systems. The Watchdog Timer is a hardware-based timer that attempts to restart the system when it stops working. The system may stop working because of external EMI or software bugs.
Page 148
SBC NOTE: The Watchdog Timer is activated through software. The software application that activates the Watchdog Timer must also deactivate it when closed. If the Watchdog Timer is not deactivated, the system will automatically restart after the Timer has finished its countdown.
