3.3 Mounting the PRO device
Prepared for support arm without extension elements (flange on top)
1. Remove the screws
2. Open the terminal compartment cover and set it aside safely.
3. If there is an intermediate plate in the adapter set: Fasten the intermediate plate
support arm head
Check that the seal is properly seated.
4. If there is an intermediate plate in the adapter set: Fasten the base adapter
intermediate plate
Check that the seal is properly seated.
5. If there is no intermediate plate in the adapter set: Fasten the base adapter
coupling of the support arm head
set.
6. Fasten the device
head screws from the Siemens base adapter set. Make sure that all connecting cables
are fed through the adapter into the interior of the device without damage.
7. Connect the device.
8. If you connect the device at a later time, fasten the terminal compartment cover to the
device.

NOTICE
Observe the torques
If you use too much torque to tighten the screws of the backplane cover and the terminal
compartment cover or the screws for fastening the device to a support arm or stand, the
threads of the enclosure, intermediate plate or support arm may be damaged. If you
tighten the screws with a torque that is too low, the device is not sealed.
Tighten the screws with the following torques, which may not be exceeded:
