9.11 Programming the Heirloom buttonhole

Prerequisite:
• The Buttonhole foot with slide No. 3A is attached.
> Touch the icon «Buttonholes».
> Select the Buttonhole No. 63.
> Sew the desired buttonhole length.
> Push the button «Quick reverse» to program the length.

9.12 Sewing the manual 7-step buttonhole

The length of the beads is manually determinded when sewing. Bartack, eye and securing stitches are
preprogrammed. The individual steps can also be selected by scrolling, by using the arrow icons, by direct
selection or by touching the button «Quick reverse».
Prerequisite:
• The Buttonhole foot No. 3C (optional accessory) is attached.
> Touch the icon «Buttonholes».
> Select the Buttonhole No. 51.
> Touch the icon «i»-Dialog.
> Touch the icon «Adjust the length manually».

> Sew the desired buttonhole length.
> Stop the machine at desired length of the bead or to the end of the length marking.
> Touch the icon (3).
> Stop at the height of the first stitch at the start of the buttonhole.
> Touch the icon (4).
> Touch the icon (5).
> Stop the machine at the height of the first bead.
> Touch the icon (6).

– The machine finishes the buttonhole automatically. All subsequent buttonholes are sewn at the same
length.
– Icon (1) in the display is activated for the buttonhole start.
– The icon (2) is activated.

– The machine sews the upper bartack and stops automatically.
– The machine sews the second bead.
– The machine sews the bottom bartack and stops automatically.
