Correcting the balance

The machine is tested and set optimally before it leaves the BERNINA factory. Different fabrics, threads and
stabilizers can affect the programmed stitch patterns so that they cannot be sewn out correctly. The
electronic balance can correct these deviation and the stitch pattern can be adjusted optimally to the selected
fabric.
> Select a stitch pattern or alphabet.
> Touch the icon «i»-Dialog.
> Touch the icon «Balance».
> Turn the «Upper Multifunctional knob» to correct the horizontal direction of the stitch pattern.
> Turn the «Lower Multifunctional knob» to correct the vertical direction of the stitch pattern.

Programming pattern repeat

Stitch patterns as well as stitch pattern combination can be repeated up to 9 times.
> Select a stitch pattern or alphabet.
> Touch the icon «i»-Dialog.
> Touch the icon «Pattern repeat» once to sew the stitch pattern once.
> Touch the icon «Pattern repeat» 2 to 9 times to repeat the stitch pattern up to 9 times.

> Keep the icon «Pattern repeat» touched to deactivate the stitch pattern repeat.

Programming long stitch

The maximum length for long stitches is 12 mm and the machine sews every second stitch.
> Select a stitch pattern.
> Touch the icon «i»-Dialog.
> Touch the icon «Long stitch».
> Touch the yellow-framed icon to reset the alteration to default setting.
