Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4.
Remove the following components:

Kickstand (select products only) (see

Display panel (see
d.
Battery (see

Hall sensor board (see
f.
Kickstand hinges (see
g.
Solid-state drive (see
h.
WLAN module (see
i.
WWAN module (see
j.
Webcam (see

Rear webcam (see

System board (see

POGO connector (see

Fan (see
p.
Fingerprint reader board (see
Remove the speakers:
1.
Lift the right speaker (1), and then left the right speaker (2)r.
Make special note of each screw and screw lock size and location during removal and
