Fingerprint reader board (includes bracket)
IMPORTANT:

Before removing the fingerprint reader board, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4. Remove the following components:
a. Kickstand (select products only) (see

c. Display panel (see
d. Battery (see
e. Hall sensor board (see
f. Kickstand hinges (see
g. Solid-state drive (see
h. WLAN module (see
i. WWAN module (see
j. Webcam (see
k. Microphone board (see
l. Rear webcam (see
m. System board (see
n. POGO connector (see
o. Fan (see
Remove the fingerprint reader board:
CAUTION: Use care to prevent damaging the ZIF connector and ribbon cable.
1. Remove the fingerprint reader bracket(1).
Make special note of each screw and screw lock size and location during removal and
