28. Installing the technical unit

(For example, if the technical unit has to be temporarily disconnected when the
appliance is installed.)
1. Remove the automatic ignition control from the technical unit.
2. Disconnect the earth wire on the automatic ignition control.
3. Unscrew the bolt connected to the earth wire at the rear of the technical
unit.
4. Remove the ionisation cable (shielded and with a black cover at the end).
5. Loosen the white plug next to the ionisation cable by pressing the lock on
the plug and gently pulling the plug forward.
6. Disconnect the flexible (yellow) gas pipe.
7. 24V cable
Place the technical unit in an accessible place, preferably in the side wall of the surround.
Mount a coloured, operational gas valve directly onto the gas regulation unit. Space has been reserved for the gas valve in the
technical unit. The connection is a 1/2" female thread. Reconnect the technical unit by following directions 1 to 6 in reverse order.
8. Make sure that the black button is accessible when the automatic ignition control is replaced (the button is located at the
bottom front of the unit).
Do not expose the technical unit to direct heat; the maximum permitted temperature is 65 ⁰C. If the printed circuit board
becomes too hot, the appliance will stop functioning and error code F02 will appear.
