24. Positioning the Fairo ECO-prestige

24.1 Adjusting the height
Loosen the two bolts and adjust the height approximately.
The adjustment range is 36 cm. Do not forget to retighten
the two bolts.
For the final adjustments, tighten the bolt at the adjustable
foot to set the exact height (range 3 cm). The appliance can
now be levelled.
24.2 Adjusting the distance between the wall and the
appliance
The wall against which the Fairo ECO-prestige is mounted
must be insulated with fire-resistant material. The
temperature cannot exceed 85 °C. Consequently we advise
that the wall be insulated with, for example, a 3-cm
calcium-silicate plate (0.07 W/m.K) and a gap left between
the Fairo ECO-prestige and the insulation. The Fairo ECO-
prestige can be attached to the wall using the premounted
supports. If the support fittings are mounted on the wall,
the free space between the back of the fire and the wall
should be at least 2 cm.
Use only non-combustible material when installing the appliance.
The ventilation of the room where the fireplace is installed must be sufficient.
The technical unit includes a thermal protector that is triggered at 65 °C; if the temperature exceeds this, the warning
code 'F02' displays on the remote control. If the temperature in the technical unit is too high, this can damage the
electronic circuits.
