Weekly Task
Note:  1). Perform test with incline set to maximum level and power OFF and power cord dis-
connected.
Monthly
Perform the following maintenance tasks every month.
Monthly Task
Verify the Safety clip is attached to the
lanyard and functional.
Inspect the power cord for damage and
that the cord clamp is securely

installed

Visually inspect the running belt and
deck condition.
Clean the treadmill's frame using a cloth
dampened with an approved cleaning

solution
.
Clean outer surface of running belt
Clean drive motor and pulleys
Vacuum debris from around motor, pul-
leys, and floor underneath the
1
treadmill
.
Inspect visible welds, frame, and wire
1
connections
.
Check for loose fasteners
Perform functional test to verify all fea-
tures are performing properly
Note:  1). Perform task with power removed and incline set to maximum level.
              2) Diagnostic tests will vary depending on console model.
Quarterly
Perform the following maintenance tasks every 3 months:
(Undefined variable: TRM700-16Base.ServiceManualTitle)
(parameter controls, HHR, Stop key. etc.).
Pull on the lanyard attached to the Safety clip
which trips the Restart (Stop/Restart) switch. The
"PUSH TO RESET SWITCH" message is shown
and an arrow pointing to the Restart switch. Tread-
mill slows and stops.
Inspect the power cord, make sure it is not dam-
aged or underneath the treadmill. Verify the cord
clamp is securely installed.
Make sure the deck and belt are in good condition,
replace as necessary.
Use only approved plastic cleaners, see
Information" on

Use a soft nylon scrub brush to clean the outer sur-
face of the running belt.

Remove hood and use wire brush to clean belt and
pulley grooves.
Remove hood. Use a vacuum cleaner (recom-
mended with static protection feature) to clean
debris and lint from front area under the front
cover. Be careful not to bring the nozzle to close to
any electronic circuit boards.
Do a visual check of welds and frame. Check for
loose wire connections.

Check all fasteners and clips for proper tightness
and torque.
Verify the unit available functions and programs.
