Reducing the coverage area

The range of the motion detector can be adjusted using the integrated
left/right shutter.
By turning Tilt R (right) or Tilt L (left) up, a maximum range of up 16 m
can be achieved, by turning these down the range can be reduced to a
minimum of 4 m.
If you wish to further reduce the coverage area, then you can also use
the shutter. The range can be adapted using the horizontal and vertical
breaking points.
Please note that once broken off parts cannot be added back on.
Therefore use masking tape (electrical tape) for testing purposes and
only make changes to the shutter in accordance with the results from
the test.
When installing the mask: First,
push the top part in to the slot
on the detector at a steep
angle, then push the sides in.
The mask can
also be attached
using double-sided
tape.
Lock into place using a screw
driver to push the shutter in to the
slot on the detector.
For an ideal fit, the mask may
have to be adjusted.
