MZ 5000
Controller
Dusk
Holiday mode and the light is switched on for the preset "DUSK TIME"
(OFF or two to eight hours) once the brightness value falls below the
value
set with the "LUX" controller (it then switches to automatic mode).
Relay 2 is not included in this function.
Mode is activated by interrupting the phase (see page 9) or can also
be activated using the control pad (see page 14/15).
Tilt L
Setting the tilt of the left sensor: Turning the controller "Down",
horizontally decreases the detection area (max. 26°) and the coverage
area is thereby reduced to a minimum of 4 m (at an installation height
of 2.5 m).
Turning the controller "Up" increases the range.
Lux
The twilight sensor regulates the operating threshold (light value
of 2 lux to day light) of the motion detector determining when the device
should be activated (only applies to relay 1!). Switching to the "Learn"
position: the current light value is saved as a reference value (the light
is turned off for ten seconds during this process). Careful not to
accidently reduce the amount of light on the detector, for example, by
covering it with your hand. Even in the event of a power failure, this
light value will be saved. The light value can be saved as many times
as you like. To do so, briefly turn the controller to the value (2 lux to day
light) and then switch back to the "Learn" position.
If a lux value is saved on the control pad, this can be overwritten by
turning to the "Learn" position and then selecting a different value.
