  • Page 9: Initial Operation

    Initial operation • After being switched on, the initialisation process of approx. 30 s is started. • During the initialisation phase, the red LED is lit up and the connected light is switched on. The light and the LED are then switched off again. Depending on the program selected by the IR dimming remote control or the settings on the controllers, the detector now selects auto/test or short pulse mode.

Manual dimming function The intensity of the light can be adjusted manually using an external button, which must be pressed and held for more than two seconds.   • Page 11 Operating modes: automatic/semi-automatic The button can be used to set the automatic or semi-automatic operating mode. To be able to do this, the detector must be in programming mode (unlocked). When the button is pressed, a beep sounds from the buzzer and the LED flashes once.

Semi-automatic mode In semi-automatic mode, the light must always be switched on using the button on the remote control or via an external switch.

The light is then automatically adjusted to the preset lux value. This will remain the same as long as there are people moving in the coverage area of the detector.
