SECTION 2 - USER RESPONSIBILITIES, MACHINE PREPARATION, AND INSPECTION
NOTE: The tower boom should not extend and the red check
light in the ground console panel should illuminate.
If the tower boom extends or the light does not illuminate,
contact a qualified service technician to further evaluate
this condition before operating the machine.
3. Raise the tower to full height and extend the tower boom
a few feet. Check that the plunger on the tower boom
horizontal limit switch at the end of the tower base boom

section is fully extended. (See Figure 2-8.) The plunger
is shown fully extended.)

NOTE: If the plunger is not fully extended, contact a qualified ser-
vice technician to further evaluate this condition.
4. Attempt to lower the base boom with the tower fly boom
extended.
