4-2 Two Speed Wiring (for TRI PRO-2.5/3.3/4.8/5.5)
1. For this installation, you will need a 2 and 3 wire Romex, double-gang retrofit box, an 8 Hour Timer, and
a HIGH-LOW-OFF Switch. Using the 3 wire Romex, attach the black wire to the bottom gold screw on
the right of the switch for high speed and attach the red wire to the top gold screw on the right for low
speed. (see Figure C)
2. With a piece of bare copper wire, attach it to the green ground screw on the switch. Using a wire nut,
tie all bare copper wires together with the green ground wire on the timer.
3. Using the included wire nuts, tie the black wire from the 2 wire power source to the black wire on the
timer. Tie the white common wire from the 2 wire power source to the white common wire on the timer
and the white common wire from fan.
4. Attach the red leg wire from the timer to the top gold screw on the left of the switch. Install the
switches and switch plate cover.
