Chapter 2 Install the Hardware

Installing 2.5" Drives

Install 2.5ʺ drive carriers vertically into the 24‐drive enclosure.
1 Make sure that the carrier is oriented so that the drive is on the left side and the handle
opens from the top.
2 Release the carrier handle by pressing the latch in the handle downwards.
3 Insert the carrier into the enclosure in the vertical position.

4 Gently slide the carrier all the way into the enclosure until it is stopped by the lever on
the bottom of the carrier.

5 Rotate the handle firmly until the handle fully engages. You will hear a click as the latch
engages and holds the handle closed.
