If the same message appears, ensure that the SMART Board is
connected to a COM port that is not being used by another
program.
Projector
Q. The image on my screen is too large for the SMART Board.
What can I do to make the image fit the Board?
A. If the image on your Board is too large and can't be reduced
enough to fit using the zoom lens or, if the image is too small
and can't be expanded, the image resolution (number of pixels
displayed) of your projector and your computer may not match.
To ensure they are the same, refer to "Matching computer
resolution to projector resolution" in the SMART Board
Installation Guide.
Q. Why does the projected image on my SMART Board appear to
shimmer?
A. The image may appear shaky if the computer was turned on
before your projector. Normally, when you switch on your
system's power button, system components are automatically
started up in the required order. To control the start-up
sequence, you should power down your system, restart the
projector, then restart the computer and any other components
you are using.
If the image is still shaky, use the projector's software to make
minor adjustments to the projector. See your Projector manual
for further assistance.
Note that you may need to re-orient your Board after adjusting
your projector.
