Scale to Fit View

You can alter your perspective further by viewing and using the entire
Notebook canvas area at one time without scrolling, regardless of
differences in display resolutions. This perspective is called Scale to Fit;
it has the effect of contracting the height and width of the workspace
while maintaining the original aspect ratio. Scale to Fit can be used in
either Normal or Full Screen view.
Scale to Fit is very useful for compensating for resolution differences in
displays. If a presentation is created on a system with a 1024 X 768 pixel
display, for example, and then shown on a system with a lower
resolution, such as a 640 X 480 pixel display, some of the presentation
may be lost in Normal view. Scale to Fit view contracts the display to
accommodate the entire workspace, effectively eliminating the potential
problems that can arise with display differences.
Scale to Fit is especially valuable when you are using the SMART Board
without a projector. Because Scale to Fit accommodates the entire
Notebook canvas area without scrolling, everything you write on the
Board will appear on the computer monitor.
