the simplest, easiest and most natural method for creating and erasing
Notebook annotations on the SMART Board.
In projected mode, the Pen Tray tools are also fully configurable. Simply
select Pen Tray Tools from the Tools menu in Notebook or from the
Board menu in SMART Board driver. The three-tabbed Configure Pen
Tray Tools dialog box will appear, enabling you to reconfigure any
aspect of the various Pen Tray tools. Procedures for using and
configuring the Pen Tray tools are fully described in the SMART Board
driver online Help.
Using Notebook Tools
In addition to the Pen Tray tools, a full range of configurable drawing and
writing tools are available from the Notebook toolbars. The annotations
you create with these tools can be selected, moved, resized, or deleted.
You can also change the appearance of Notebook annotations after they
have been created. For example, you can apply a new color scheme or
change the line width of your annotations at any time. Simply select one
or several annotations and then click on the Color or Line Width buttons
in the toolbar to immediately adjust the visual characteristics of the
selected objects.
Using Data Import Tools
Data can be imported into the Notebook in a variety of ways:
Cut, copy and paste operations are available to import data to
the clipboard and then to the Notebook.
Screen Capture imports a customized screen region, an entire
screen or (in Windows Notebook only) a complete window from
another application into the Notebook. To activate this function,
select Screen Capture from the Tools menu.
Print Capture is a Windows-only Notebook feature that allows
you to print a complete multi-page file from another Windows
application to the end of the current Notebook file. All the pages
of the imported file can be immediately viewed  one printed
page per Notebook page. To activate this function, select Print
Capture from the Tools menu.
