Creating Information on the SMART
Board
10
The SMART Notebook program allows you to create, edit, save, present
and distribute information on the SMART Board in the form of Notebook
files.
Managing these files is very much like managing files in any other
application. You can create new Notebook files, save files you are
currently working on for later viewing and revision, print all or part of
these files or send them electronically to others. You can also have
Notebook files saved automatically as you work at intervals that you
specify.
The procedures for printing and sending Notebook files are described in
the section of this guide entitled "Printing and Distributing Information" on
page 47. In this section, you will learn to:
•
open, create, and save Notebook files
•
enable the autosave feature
•
create annotation objects within Notebook files with the Pen Tray
tools and the Notebook tools
•
reconfigure the visual attributes of the annotation objects
•
enable automatic grouping of these objects with SMART
