CLOSED allows current to flow in the motor and produce torque.
OPEN disables the control & motor coasts to a stop.

CLOSED to enable operation in the Forward direction.

OPEN causes an External Trip to be received by the control (when programmed to
"ON"). When this occurs, the control disables and an external trip error is displayed on
the keypad display (also logged into the error log).
If J1B-16 is connected, you must set Level 2 Protection block, External Trip to "ON" to
recognize the J1B-16 input.
