3-3. CONVERGENCE ADJUSTMENT

3-3-1. Horizontal and Vertical Convergence
Adjustment on the Center of Screen
1. Before starting the fine adjustment, perform V.SIZE,
V.CENT, H.SIZE, H.CENT and screen distortion
adjustments roughly.
2. Receive a dot signal, and set the BRIGHT control to
minimum and CONTR control to normal.
3. Adjust RV701 (H.STAT) on the CA board to coincide
rhe Red, Green, and Blue dots on the center of screen
(horizontal movement).
4. Adjust V.STAT magnet to coincide the Red, Green, and
Blue dots on the center of screen (vertical movement).

Note: If Red, Green, and Blue dots do not coincide on
the center of screen with RV701 (H.STAT) on the
CA board, perform adjustment using V.STAT
magnet at the same time while tracking.
Tilt the V.STAT magnet and adjust static
convergence to open or close the V.STAT magnet.

5. The movement of Red, Green, and Blue dots by means
of tilting, opening, and closing of the vertical static
convergence magnet are as follows:
1 When opening or closing the V.STAT magnet:
