Switching the Ink Type

The ink types can be switched between ECO-
UV ink and ECO-UV3 ink on this machine.
Restrictions on Switching
Ink Type
• You can switch the ink types (between ECO-
UV ink and ECO-UV3 ink). You should note
that you cannot change the combination of
colors.
• When using Roland VersaWorks, you must
initialize Roland VersaWorks after switching
the ink types (p. 47).
• If you initialize the Roland VersaWorks,
previously saved settings and data will be
lost.
• This procedure requires some ink to be
discharged, so you should not perform this
procedure frequently.
• Switching the ink types may cause dot drop-
out. In that case, perform the cleaning of the
print heads.

to carry out the operations .
After cleaning has finished, the sub power is
automatically switched off.
