3-8 Changing the Type of Ink
When changing the type of ink in use, follow the steps below to replace the ink.
Ink replacement requires four optionally available cleaning cartridges. You can perform cleaning three times per clean-
ing cartridge.
Press the [MENU] key, and press the [

to make the following screen appear on the dis-
play.
Press the [

When the display shown in the figure appears,

discard the discharged ink in the drain bottle.
Be sure to discard the discharged ink.
Attempting to replace the ink while discharged ink
remains may cause discharged ink to overflow from
the bottle.
