Making Advanced Setup of Media

Changing Print Area

In the factory default, the base position (home
position) of the print area is at the right front
of the flat table, and the print area is the full
area (508 x 330 mm).
The base position of the print area should be
changed according to the media size.
You can reduce the print time if you narrow
(limit) the print area.
Determining Base Position of Print
Area (Home Position)
Determine the base position used as a base to
set the print area.

Press [MENU] .

Set the base position (home posi-
tion) at the front right of the print
area.
This method is appropriate when

the print site is level, and you can
clearly specify the print area.

Set the base position at the center
of the media.
This method is appropriate when
clear specification of the print area
CENTER
is difficult, or when the print site is
curved or uneven.

Press [ENTER] .
MEMO
You can select the setting method for the
print area every time you make a setup of
media. For more information "Setting Print
Area for Each Setup of Media" (p. 11).

Press [MENU] [
] in this order to return to
the original screen .
