Re-Curing Ink

When the ink is not completely cured
after printing is complete, cure the ink by
illuminating it once again with the UV-LED
lamp. A characteristic of UV ink is that it cures
quickly when exposed to the UV-LED lamp,
but curing may be difficult for materials
like cloth that absorb ink. This function may
alleviate the symptom.
MEMO
• This feature cannot be used if media setup
has been canceled ([SETUP] goes dark).
• The UV-LED lamp illuminates the print area
configured in media setup.
• The effect depends on the media material.
Procedure
1.
Press [FUNCTION] .
2.
Press [ ] several times until the screen
shown on the below appears .

UV SCANNING
3.
Press [ENTER] .
The print heads move, and the print area is
illuminated by the UV-LED lamp.
MEMO
You can stop the operation by pressing
[ENTER] while operation is in progress.
