Integrated storage controller card

Your system includes a dedicated expansion card slot on the system board for the primary storage controller card. The storage controller
card provides the storage subsystem for internal hard drives of your system. The controller supports SAS and SATA hard drives and also
enables you to set up the hard drives in RAID configurations as supported by the version of the storage controller.

Removing the integrated storage controller card

Prerequisites

Follow the safety guidelines listed in

Remove the air shroud.
Steps
1
Using Phillips #2 screwdriver, loosen the screws that secure the integrated storage controller cable to the connector on the system
board.

Lift the integrated storage controller cable to disconnect it from the connector on the system board.
