Removing and Installing Motherboard Nodes

The system comes features twelve removable nodes. Each node contains an in-
dividual motherboard and hard drives mounted on a sled, which allows it to easily
be installed and removed from the chassis.
Removing Nodes from the System
1. Power-down the individual node by pressing that node's power button.
2. Press and hold down the release tab on the back of the node.
3. Use the node's handle to pull the node from the system.
Warning: Except for short periods of time while swapping nodes, do not operate the
server with the node bays empty. In the unlikely event of a node failure, remove the
failed node and replace it with the dummy node that was included with the system.
