all the cartridges are confirmed to be ready. It is recommended that this function be left on to
prevent damage to printer as a result of expired ink, the ink starvation due to empty carts, and ink
contamination due to mismatched cartridges. If you dare to use non-Ricoh authorized inks, you are
responsible for any result, including damage, arising out of your use of non- Ricoh authorized inks.

Power Voltages: The printer will automatically read the power voltages any time it is about to print to
ensure that all of the components required to print the job are receiving enough power.
Color Head Voltages and White Head Voltages: In addition to checking the power voltages the
printer will also check to make sure each of your print heads are operating at the optimal voltage. If
the heads are not operating at an optimal voltage, the printer will automatically re-calibrate them
before printing the job.
By default, all of the Pre-Print Checks are set to YES. It is recommended that you do not turn off any
of these checks.

4: Wipe After Number of Prints

Found under the Printer tab, allows you to control how many prints the printer will do before the
wiper blade engages to clean the print-head. By default, this is set to 0, meaning it will not wipe
before any print. This is the recommended setting.
