FRONT FORK CAP BOLT
• Pull up the inner rod with the special tool ".
• Compress the spring with the special tool # and then insert
the special tool $ between the lock-nut and the spacer.

• Make sure that the height
lows.
: 11 mm (0.43 in)
• Slowly turn the cap bolt completely by hand until the end of
the cap bolt seats on the lock-nut.
• Apply fork oil to the O-ring.
Make sure that the rebound damping force adjuster 
to the softest position before installing the cap bolt.
• Insert the adjuster rod in to the inner rod.
• Hold the cap bolt  and tighten the lock-nut  to the speci-
fied torque.
" Inner rod lock-nut: 15 N·m (1.5 kgf-m, 11.0 lb-ft)
• Remove the special tools.
• Tighten the front fork cap bolt to the outer tube temporarily.
